Some weeks ago at the end of September…
I started my first commercial YouTube channel with only AI-generated content.
The topic?
Of course: Innovations and the future! 🚀

And now it has crossed YouTube´s threshold for monetization. They require a minimum of 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 of watch hours before you can earn money from ads on your videos. 🎆

The numbers so far:

The channel’s name is Tomorrow Minds.

Since then it has delivered
👉 18 videos of 3 to 8 minutes each about the future of fashion, cities, smart mobility, relationships, food, music, media, coffee, public speaking, and gen AI
👉 10 short videos about the same topics
👉 2,220 subscribers
👉 70.7 hours of watch time

How did I do it? 🤔
This is really dead simple. I did some market research about the most relevant innovative topics on YouTube. The next step is to use an AI called invideo. This AI produces videos using stock footage and a synthesized voice-over.

You only need to prompt the AI to produce the video, you don´t need to give it a script. However, you can provide an entire script (made with ChatGPT for example).

Here is a typical prompt I use:
Create an 8 minute youtube video about the future of media. The video should include examples and storytelling. The overall mood of the video should be inspiring. The aim of the video is to inspire a broad audience.
The voiceover should be a male with an American accent with a dynamic pacing and casual word style. Add some stock footage.
Add piano music. Add an intro saying “Hey Tomorrow Minds welcome to your daily dose of the future”.
Add an outro with “Stay tuned to your next dose of the future. Don´t forget to subscribe to the channel”

It takes a couple of minutes to produce the video. You can edit it afterward by editing the script or the media (if there is some video footage you don´t want to have included).

That´s it! You are done and ready to upload your video to your channel.

Have fun as a video producer!

🔮 Sales of the future will be more digital, more automated, and, maybe, a little less personal. Some of my clients are reluctant to take the right measures and to implement possible AI and robotics in their sales, knowing what they could achieve if they did.

But they tell me: "No, Sorry, but OUR clients don´t want this impersonal sale. They want to talk to us on the phone, they want us to visit them once a quarter."
When we look at their sales processes we see lots of manual and personal interaction. Before sending out a quote they insist on a personal meeting, telling me "Our customers need this personal meeting. And, by the way, we need it to write the quote."

Studies and numbers show a different reality. McKinsey stated in a recent study, that 95% of all buyers prefer self-service-modules, Gartner predicts, that 33% of all buyers want a seller-free sales experience. And think about it: What do you prefer as a customer yourself? A fast and seamless service? Or one where you have to go through tedious telephone calls with a sales representative?

The other day I had just this experience as a possible client. I wanted to try out a new CRM software, a very promising one. I hit the "Try for Free" button, entered my email, and then...I received an email from the SaaS company asking for a slot for a personal call before I could try the software. I postponed it directly, as I find it difficult to block my calendar with this kind of call.

It is quite obvious that we should put our sales processes to the test and ask ourselves (or our buyers, or our buyer personas in ChatGPT) if the personal contact within our sales process is necessary for us or if your customers really want it.

If they prefer a personal contact - just fine, go and free enough time on your sales rep´s schedule.

What do you think? Is your sales innovative? I am hungry for your success stories in the comments.

Imagine this: You could talk to your ideal customers so openly that you would know their most secret thoughts and wishes. I know, some of you do so with real customers. If so, hey, no need for you to keep on reading.

Imagine: You could ask them all the burning questions you would never have dared to ask.

You would know what to do and what to say to get them interested in your products and services.

You would know the right words to trigger them.

You would know how to do better to avoid them leaving you.

You would know what to put in an ad for them to click.

All of this is possible using a persona for ChatGPT. The process is dead simple: With the help of the browser extension Keywordseverywhere you get your customer avatar or buyer persona or however you like to name the essence of your ideal client. In the next step of your journey, you simply ask ChatGPT to assume the persona it just developed for you. Then reserve the next hours to chat with them and clarify everything you always wanted to know.

I do this quite often and ask ChatGPT a lot of questions when it assumes my perfect client, an event marketing manager, a head of marketing, or a speaker coordinator.

You can use it to test hypotheses on marketing communication or products. The possibilities are endless.
How are you using the persona concept with ChatGPT? Please leave a comment.

💡 “Change begins at the edge of your comfort zone.” 💡

Would you dare to disrupt the status quo of your event? 🎤

Here’s a confession: I’m not the safe bet. I’m the joker in the deck, the wildcard you’re hesitant to play. Many event decision-makers often hesitate to let me hold the mic, wondering if I might be too much. But let me ask you this: Isn’t that where magic happens? In the unexpected, the daring, the bold?

Yes, booking a speaker unseen on stage is daunting. But the moments that leave a mark, the talks that ignite flames of passion, often come from places you least expect. Why choose the familiar when you can unveil the extraordinary?

Events aren’t just gatherings. They’re opportunities. Chances to inspire, to challenge norms, to pave the way for groundbreaking ideas. And that’s where I come in. Over a decade of sharing insights globally has taught me one thing – the speakers who dare, who defy conventions, are the ones that leave an indelible mark. 🔥

If you’re looking for more than just a speaker, if you’re hunting for an experience, a memory, a spark, then let’s challenge the norm together.

Dive into the unknown. Trust your audience. Unleash the unexpected. Because real innovation thrives outside the comfort zone.

🎬 “From silent reels to digital feels, every era has its disruptors.” 🎬

Once, the mighty stars of silent films were rendered voiceless with the advent of ‘talkies’. Now, a new wave of disruption is cresting. Will the influencers of today fade to black like the silent movie stars of yesteryears? 🍿

Enter: The Avatars. With the inception of hyper-realistic avatars like Joshua Avatar 2.0, content creation is experiencing a seismic shift. Autopilot content? You bet. From YouTube to Insta, these aren’t just characters; they’re a revolution in pixels.

Imagine producing top-tier videos without the hassle of hair & makeup, lighting, or retakes. All you need is your personal avatar. It’s efficient, it’s customizable. Synthesia does a perfect job here at reasonable pricing. 🌐

But here’s the crux: Do digital faces truly match the charisma of real, human connection? Does the warmth of a genuine smile, the nuance of an eyebrow raise, or the timbre of laughter really have a digital counterpart?

Let’s hear it from you! In a world dominated by tech, will we cling to human authenticity, or fully embrace the digital evolution? 🤖 vs 🙋

What are the most intriguing use cases other found for ChatGPT?

To find answers to this burning question I spent some hours on the internet.

Here is what I found.

👉 To summarize research articles 👈

For my business I am using GPT 3 for a year now – first for experiments in #AI and now for the production of my weekly newsletter (more on this next week).

I suppose this is by far one of the use cases with most impact, as it will make research and development 10x faster.

👉 Find a slot in a calendar 👈

I did a prompt with the link to my Calendly page and asked for a free slot in January. It came out proposing a random date at the end of the month.
Where is the business case here, you might wonder?
Often I am asked to propose 3 to 4 time slots for a meeting and until now I have to look them up on my self or ask my assistant to do it.

👉 For search instead of Google. 👈
For finding answers to complex questions ChatGPT seems to be way more appropriate:

https://lnkd.in/enQmumCC

One step further is this one:

👉Discussing a question 👈
Tyler Ankert used it not only to ask a question, but to discuss the outcome of the algo

https://lnkd.in/ezWbpmPf

👉 Building virtual machines 🙀 👈
Somebody really built a virtual machine inside of ChatGPT and browsed the internet:

https://lnkd.in/eqe-Xw95

😉 Here are the funny ones:

👉 Write funny content 👈
Amitai Winehouse uses the new #OpenAI outcome to generate funny texts:

https://lnkd.in/ea8yQtRB

👉 Creating text adventures 👈
When I was a teenage boy I loved to code text adventures on my Commodore C64.
Jon Radoff used ChatGPT to do the job (fantastically):

https://lnkd.in/eCRNS8yg

And here a the odds:

Yes, of course. Not all that shines is gold. There are some odds in it. As OpenAI itself states, while using ChatGPT you should be real careful.

The main argument here is, as the output texts read so natural and persuasive you soon will be fooled. ChatGPT commits errors and comes up with false facts. (https://lnkd.in/e_AHHYvS)

If you want to try it out yourself (and I think you should to get an idea of how it works):

What are your favorite uses of this astonishing technology?
